ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

Using the methods covered in class, you will be designing a short video rendering (30-60sec) of a complex abstract 3D environment within Touchdesigner.

The environment should feel immersive; utilizing the entire width of the visual field and depth/perspective to create an environment in which the viewer feels immersed. 

Your project should incorporate more than one of the following concepts:

• Dynamic lighting design

• Generative geometric shapes

• Dynamic geometry, light, and camera movement using SOP paths

• Particle systems

• Instancing

• Post-processing effects using TOPs
